What is a double scramble?
Choose your golf: MORNING or AFTERNOON or BOTH We will have a morning shotgun start at 8:00 AM, and an afternoon shotgun start at 1:30 PM. Sign up for either flight (or both). Separate prizes will be awarded for each scramble! Bring your own team or we will match you up with other golfers.

How do the two scrambles work?
Each golfer pays $100.00 for the 8:00 am shotgun start which includes lunch at Rising Star Casino.
Each golfer pays $100.00 for the 2:00 pm shotgun start which includes dinner at Rising Star Casino.

Important golf changes for 2022
Estimated afternoon starting time will be 2:00 pm this year. Last year there were very few rangers on the course to monitor play. At one point in the morning there was a two hole gap between teams. This should never happen. The course has assured us they will monitor play and speed groups up when necessary, even if they have to make them skip holes

One person per golf cart will sign for that cart, including address and phone number. Make sure your cart number and color is listed next to your signature. Any damage to the cart will be the responsibility of whomever signed for that cart. "Horseplay" with golf carts will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

There will be a six beer limit per person this year. You will receive one beer ticket. When you turn that ticket in at the Pro Shop you will get a cooler with six beers in it, all six beers at one time. The Beverage Carts will be on the course and only have alcoholic beverages for sale at the casino price. If you consume all of your beer you will have to buy any additional from the course. There are no substitutions for beer. Non alcoholic drinks and water will be provided at no cost as usual. Please remember that it is illegal to bring alcoholic beverages to the course.

Afternoon 18 hole replay
Each golfer pays $170.00 for the 8:00 am start ($100.00) and plays again at 1:30 pm ($70.00) you will receive a voucher for diner only since you will not have time to attend the lunch. Keep in mind that food will be provided on the course during each round of golf. You will not go hungry!

How does the meal at the Casino work?
We are moving the lunch and dinner service to the Casino banquet room. There will be a buffet style set up with several items available. By doing this we are not on a time limit for the lunch service. The room is very spacious and more comfortable. Proceed to the Casino at the conclusion or your round and go to the Banquet room. We will have a table set up outside the room to direct you.

What about the prizes?
We will distribute prizes, auction items and awards in the Casino room. All items will be awarded at the meals. If you are unable to stay please give your tickets to a friend or team member. We are not able to deliver unclaimed items. We will have the winning team names and contest winners ready by the time you are finished with your meal. We will also have a cash bar in the room for our group.

Is this a four person scramble?
Yes. A scramble is played with 4-person teams. In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The better of the second shots is determined, and then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. The maximum number of putts for this scramble will be limited to two.

The course management reserves the right to modify play due to unforeseen circumstances.

Each player has the option of purchasing a maximum of two mulligans. A mulligan is used to allow a player to erase a bad shot and try again. Trading or using another foursome member’s mulligan is not allowed.
Mulligans can be purchased during check-in for $5 apiece, limit two per person.
A mulligan can be used anywhere on the course, including the greens.
A mulligan CANNOT be used in the process of winning any contest or gimmick hole!

What is the course dress code?
Men: Must wear shirts with collars and sleeves. Shorts must be Bermuda length. No cut-offs, jogging wear or swimsuits allowed. Shoes must be either golf shoes with non- penetrating spikes (i.e. “soft Spikes”) or tennis shoes.
Women: No swim wear, jogging wear, cut-offs or “short-shorts” allowed. No T-shirts, tube tops or tank tops. Shoes must be either golf shoes with non-penetrating spikes (i.e., “soft Spikes”) or tennis shoes.

The two-putt rule is in effect. If the ball is on the green all team members putt the first putt, if it is missed, the ball is to be picked-up and a total of two (2) strokes (this includes the first putt) added to the score for that hole. Mulligans may be used on the greens.
If team plays a ball hit into a water hazard, out of bounds, or is lost, another ball will be dropped nearest to the point where the ball entered the hazard or was lost, and the team will take one penalty stroke. Please limit the time searching for a lost ball to three minutes.

To qualify for The Closest to the Hole contest, you must be on the green and you may not have used a mulligan!

To qualify for The Longest Drive contest, you must be in the fairway and you may not have used a mulligan!

Please make every attempt to keep up the pace of play as much as possible.
Please limit the time taken to search for lost balls to three minutes.
Marshals will be on the course to aid in speeding up play.

After the Round
Each team Captain will be responsible for turning in the master scorecard at the Clubhouse scorecard table as soon as possible after the round.

All cancellations must be received at least 5 business days before the start of the
event. Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail to: (postmaster@greatercincynfff.org).
No refunds will be made for requests received after that time. Please allow two weeks for processing.
